BIOGRAPHY
ginny was born to kazzie and billy zhang in 1998 shortly after bridezillas disbanded. ginny's father continued to work as an entertainment lawyer and his work was their primary source of income until ginny was seven, at which time kazzie returned to work this time at bridezilas former record label as a producer and songwriter.
ginny was raised in a loving and very musically inclined home. she learned to play piano as soon as she was in school and guitar quickly followed because her mom was always playing. growing up, she spent a lot of time in the music room in their family's laurel canyon home.
ginny attended private school all her life. it was in school that she met addison and camden matthews, her best friends for life and future bandmates. ginny and addison were strange kids and that weird kid energy bonded them for life.
ginny started writing music in late middle school, early high school, but it only started being something she wanted to play for anyone in her sophomore year of high school. slowly, she was coming into the realization that she wanted to make music as a career and not just a hobby.
the thursday coven officially formed when ginny and addison were seniors in high school, but they'd been toying with the idea of forming a band for at least a year prior. at the start the band included ginny, addison, addison's older brother camden, and camden's friend elodie. before they started working on their first ep, they added a bassist, jess conklin, as well.
VERSES

DYNAMIC WITH GINNY kazzie is ginny's mom and the lead singer of the riot grrrl band bridezillas. the band lasted from 1990-1997 and disbanded when kazzie got pregnant with ginny. she and ginny are incredibly close, however ginny refused to let the band sign with her mom's record label or let kazzie produce their music. kazzie understands that ginny doesn't want anyone to think she's not putting in the work and respects that, that being said they do still play music together.
