“Heal the Sea” is an Erasmus+ K229 project between schools from Italy, Portugal, France, Romania and Turkey. The project offers the possibility of carrying out ecological education activities through which we cultivate the interest and love of the students for the surrounding world and the protection of the sea. It aims to make students accountable for the importance of protecting the marine environment, shaping their skills and attitudes to value and respect it as well as to help learners become responsible and active global citizens. Entering this project gives the school and its students intellectual, educational, moral, affective and practical benefits that will be reflected later on in their attitude of the local community. The involvement of the students in the life of the community, through the ecological activities, will lead them to acquire an Eco protective behavior which will definitely be used in the development of responsible future European citizens.
