Reading 5th Nonfiction 

Students will be provided with a preview of the type of reading they can expect to engage with in fifth grade. Students will receive both instruction and time to practice nonfiction reading.

Standards Covered: Students will learn to make inferences that can be supported with text evidence that is quoted directly, compare and contrast text structure, identify two or more main ideas of a text and supporting details, and analyze multiple accounts of the same event with different view points
