Reading 5th Fiction

Students will be provided with instruction focused on enhancing reading of fictional texts. Students will have time to engage in reading and analyzing works of fiction.

Standards Covered: There will be a focus on making inferences, comparing story elements such as setting, and identifying theme. Many of the narrative writing techniques studied in the narrative writing course will also be identified in these works of fiction.
