Creative cooking is back with all new recipes! In this hands-on enrichment class, students will explore the world of winter-inspired foods, creating delicious and nutritious dishes using seasonal ingredients. This class is designed for young chefs to learn valuable cooking skills—without an oven or traditional kitchen—while assembling healthy snacks, cozy treats, and festive foods.
Throughout the course, children will gain a deeper understanding of winter ingredients like winter fruits, warming spices and whole grains. From making no-bake granola bars to crafting homemade soups and frosty smoothies, kids will learn essential culinary techniques, including chopping, mixing, measuring, and food safety, all while having fun and getting creative. We can't wait to put our chefs hats back on and get to cooking!
All students in grades K-5 are welcome! Creative Cooking 1 and 2 are not necessary for enrollment.
