Calling all lovers of science and food! Science enrichment is taking on a new spin with "flavors of science." Grab your chef's hat, your test tubes and let's get to experimenting. Together we will dive into the chemistry and biology behind the food we eat. Each week, young scientists will conduct fun, interactive experiments that demonstrate key scientific concepts like crystallization, fermentation, emulsification and more! Whether its experimenting with carbonation as we make fizzing lemonade, learning about the effects of yeast in bread, or understanding polymers as we make gummy bears, students will discover how science is at work in our food! Along the way we will work together, make hypotheses, and learn the power of observation. This class is the perfect blend of learning and fun, designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a love for science.
