"Handwriting is autobiography." -Terri Guillemets
In this class students will have the ability to refine their fine motor skills through practicing cursive, printing, and typing. Students will practice forming letters correctly, through both printing and cursive, and work on control and neatness. Students will also learn to type while keeping their fingers on the home row. They will work on improving their typing speed and accuracy while ultimately increasing their words per minute (WPM).Â
When appropriate, other activities such as cutting and tracing will also be used to further develop fine motor skills for students in lower grades.
