If you want to replace damaged lighting units with high-performance LED technology in tight spaces, choose HEADLIGHTSDEPOT LED Fog Light; if you need a direct-fit cosmetic upgrade for a specific sedan model, choose EIDZADK Fog Light Cover. These two products solve fundamentally different problems, and confusing them is the fastest way to buy the wrong part for your vehicle. One is a complete lighting system designed to illuminate dark roads, while the other is a singular housing component intended to restore or enhance the look of an existing setup. Understanding this distinction is critical before you click "Add to Cart," especially when you are working within the confined engine bays of modern cars where space is at a premium.
• HEADLIGHTSDEPOT LED Fog Light: Offers a full pair of DOT-compliant LED bulbs that meet safety standards, but requires verification of specific model years and regional manufacturing origins like Japan-built Rogues. Best for owners of Nissan Armada, Pathfinder, and Rogue models needing a functional lighting overhaul.
• EIDZADK Fog Light Cover: Provides a single chrome unit designed for bolt-on installation on select Infiniti and Toyota models, yet the listing data suggests it may be a headlight assembly rather than a simple cover, creating potential confusion. Best for drivers looking for a straightforward swap without modifying factory mounting points.
• The Trade-off: HEADLIGHTSDEPOT focuses on performance and illumination for a pair of lights, whereas EIDZADK focuses on a single-unit replacement with a focus on fitment simplicity.
This product is engineered specifically for owners of the Nissan Armada, Pathfinder, and Rogue who are looking to upgrade their visibility without sacrificing style. This is a significant advantage for anyone trying to maintain symmetry in their vehicle's front end. The physical dimensions of 4.78 by 4.78 by 9.56 inches indicate a compact form factor, which is essential for those dealing with tight spaces in the bumper area where larger aftermarket lights often fail to fit without cutting or drilling.
The core value here lies in the technology and compliance. These fog lights utilize LED bulb types, which generally offer better brightness and longevity compared to traditional halogen bulbs. More importantly, they are stamped with DOT and SAE markings, confirming they meet all federal and industry safety requirements. This is not just about making things look good; it is about ensuring your vehicle remains legal on public roads while providing superior light output in foggy or rainy conditions. The inclusion of a hassle-free one-year limited warranty adds a layer of security that generic parts often lack, giving buyers peace of mind regarding the quality of the internal components and the durability of the housing.
However, this product is not a universal solution. The compatibility notes are precise and demanding. If you own a Nissan Rogue, it only fits the Japan-built models, so a domestic version will not work. Similarly, the Pathfinder owner must ensure their vehicle is not the Rock Creek model, as the fitment will be incorrect. This specificity means you cannot simply buy based on the year alone; you must cross-reference your specific trim and build location.
Who should skip this? Drivers who do not have a compatible Nissan model listed above, or those who prefer a plug-and-play solution without checking build-specific details like "Japan Built" or "Rock Creek." If you need a single light rather than a pair, this set might feel like overkill unless you plan to save the second unit for future use.

The EIDZADK product presents itself as a specialized replacement component, primarily targeting owners of the Infiniti Q50 from 2014 to 2017, though the feature list also mentions a direct fit for the Toyota Corolla 2017-2019. This discrepancy in the description highlights the importance of reading every line carefully. The item is described as a "Fog Light Cover" but the bullet points mention "headlight assemblies with pre-installed bulbs and connectors," suggesting it is actually a complete unit rather than just a decorative lens or bezel. Regardless of the naming, the primary selling point is the ease of installation. It is designed as a bolt-on replacement that utilizes factory mounting points and connectors, eliminating the need for special tools or complex modifications.
The design features a striking Chrome finish, which immediately changes the aesthetic of the front fascia. For enthusiasts who want to give their vehicle a more aggressive or polished look, this chrome element serves as a focal point. The material is built to withstand daily driving situations, including temperature fluctuations and exposure to road debris, ensuring that the unit does not degrade quickly under normal conditions. The fact that it includes pre-installed bulbs and connectors means you are getting a complete solution that reduces the need for additional purchases, streamlining the repair process significantly.
The physical nature of this product is a single unit count, contrasting sharply with the pair offered by the competitor. This makes it ideal for someone replacing a single damaged side or upgrading just one corner of the vehicle. However, the complexity of the listing—mixing "cover" terminology with "assembly" details—means the buyer must be extremely diligent. You must confirm your vehicle year, make, model, engine size, and OE part number against the product images before purchasing. The support staff is available to help confirm compatibility, but the onus is on the buyer to ensure the fitment matches their specific car configuration.
Who should skip this? Buyers looking for a budget-friendly cosmetic trim piece rather than a functional lighting unit. If your current lights are broken and you need a full pair to restore balance, buying just one chrome unit will leave your vehicle looking uneven. Additionally, if your vehicle is not a 2014-2017 Infiniti Q50 or a 2017-2019 Toyota Corolla, this part is irrelevant to your needs.
When choosing between these two options, the most critical factor beyond price is the physical constraint of your vehicle's engine bay and the complexity of the installation. Both products are marketed as solutions for tight spaces, but they approach the problem differently. The HEADLIGHTSDEPOT LED Fog Light has defined dimensions of roughly 4.78 x 4.78 x 9.56 inches. In the context of a tight space, such as the lower bumper area of a Pathfinder or Rogue, this compact footprint is vital. It allows the light to sit deep within the housing without protruding excessively, which could cause scraping or aerodynamic issues. The dual-bulb LED technology ensures that even in these constrained areas, you get maximum light spread without requiring a massive housing.
In contrast, the EIDZADK unit is a single assembly. While its exact dimensions are not fully detailed in the provided text, the emphasis on "bolt-on replacement using factory mounting points" implies it is designed to slot exactly into the existing cavity without requiring extra clearance for wiring harnesses or separate bulb sockets. The pre-installed nature of the bulbs inside the assembly removes the need for the user to reach into tight, awkward corners to install individual bulbs, which is a common pain point in older vehicles. This makes it a superior choice for those whose primary concern is avoiding the mechanical struggle of fitting components into cramped, hard-to-reach spots.
Another consideration is the scope of the repair. If your vehicle has lost functionality on both sides, the HEADLIGHTSDEPOT pair is the logical economic and functional choice. You get two lights, two warranties, and a symmetrical look. If you only have damage on one side, the EIDZADK single unit prevents waste. However, the ambiguity in the EIDZADK listing regarding whether it is a "cover" or a "headlight assembly" introduces a risk factor. A true cover would be cheaper and lighter, but an assembly is heavier and more complex. You must decide if you need a cosmetic accent or a full lighting function.
• Best for Full Vehicle Symmetry → HEADLIGHTSDEPOT LED Fog Light (Includes a pair).
• Best for Single-Sided Replacement → EIDZADK Fog Light Cover (Unit count is 1).
• Best for Compliance and Safety → HEADLIGHTSDEPOT LED Fog Light (DOT and SAE stamped).
• Best for Bolt-On Simplicity → EIDZADK Fog Light Cover (Factory mounting points, no modification).
• Best for Compact Dimensions → HEADLIGHTSDEPOT LED Fog Light (Specifically sized 4.78 x 4.78 x 9.56 inches).
• Best for Aesthetic Upgrade → EIDZADK Fog Light Cover (Chrome finish).
• Best for Nissan Owners → HEADLIGHTSDEPOT LED Fog Light (Compatible with Armada, Pathfinder, Rogue).
• Best for Infiniti/Toyota Owners → EIDZADK Fog Light Cover (Compatible with Q50 and Corolla).
In my opinion, if you are working in tight spaces and need a reliable, compliant lighting upgrade for a Nissan, the HEADLIGHTSDEPOT LED Fog Light is the superior choice. Its compact dimensions and DOT certification provide a balanced solution that addresses both safety and fitment without the ambiguity found in the EIDZADK listing. I would buy the HEADLIGHTSDEPOT set because it offers a complete, symmetrical pair with verified safety standards, whereas the EIDZADK option feels more like a niche cosmetic fix with confusing product descriptions that might lead to compatibility errors. For a driver prioritizing function and clarity in a restricted area, the LED pair is the smarter investment.
Yes, the HEADLIGHTSDEPOT unit is designed with compact dimensions (4.78 x 4.78 x 9.56 inches) to fit standard factory cavities, while the EIDZADK part uses factory mounting points for a direct bolt-on swap without modification.
The HEADLIGHTSDEPOT product focuses on the internal LED technology for better illumination and safety compliance, whereas the EIDZADK product emphasizes the external chrome housing for aesthetic enhancement.
Absolutely. Both products have strict fitment requirements; HEADLIGHTSDEPOT excludes Rock Creek Pathfinders and non-Japan Rogues, while EIDZADK is specific to 2014-2017 Infiniti Q50s and 2017-2019 Toyota Corollas.
The HEADLIGHTSDEPOT LED Fog Light comes with a hassle-free one-year limited warranty, providing coverage for defects or failures during that period.
