Digital Humanities are at the intersection of computing and the humanities, in a transdisciplinary and collaborative way. The study of the humanities incorporates digital tools and methods and considers new ways of producing knowledge, while taking a critical stance on how digital impacts cultural heritage and culture.
The CHRONOSLAB - Digital Humanities Laboratory at CIDEHUS (Interdisciplinary Centre for History, Cultures and Societies at the University of Évora) brings together researchers from this centre that represent the growing of a Digital Humanities community in the various areas of human and social sciences, arts and letters.
