Igniter TV Player ("we," "our," or "us") operates the HD Video Player: Media Player (the "App").   • App Usage Data: We may collect anonymized app usage data, such as which features are used and how often, to improve the App. This data is collected through third-party services like Firebase Analytics and does not personally identify you.

  • Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the App, such as hardware model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers. This data helps improve the performance and compatibility of the App.


2. Data Storage and Security

All data related to The App is stored locally on your device. We do not upload or store this data on external servers. Any analytics data collected through third-party services (e.g., Firebase) is anonymized.

We employ appropriate security measures to protect your personal data, including encryption and regular security audits. However, no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

  • In-App Purchases: No In-App Purchases have been added to the App as of now, but we may add it in future.

The App itself does not use cookies, but third-party services like Google AdMob or Firebase Analytics may use cookies to collect anonymized information. You can manage cookies through your browser or device settings.


5. Third-Party Services

Google Ads (AdMob)

We use Google AdMob (com.google.android.gms:play-services-ads) to show ads in our app. AdMob might collect data like device identifiers, usage data, and location (if allowed). You can manage your ad preferences in your device settings.


Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase to gather anonymous data on how the app is used, including feature usage and crash reports. This helps us improve the app's performance. The collected data does not personally identify you.


Retrofit

We use Retrofit (com.squareup.retrofit2) for making network requests to APIs. It helps us fetch data from remote servers efficiently and convert API responses into Java objects. Retrofit supports both synchronous and asynchronous requests and is ideal for RESTful API interactions.


Room Database (RoomDB)

SDP & SSP

We use SDP (com.intuit.sdp:sdp-android) and SSP (com.intuit.ssp:ssp-android) to make sure our app’s design looks good on all screen sizes and device ratios.


Glide

We use Glide (com.github.bumptech.glide:glide) to load and display images and media smoothly within the app. It helps reduce loading times and improves performance.


EventBus

We use EventBus (org.greenrobot:eventbus) to efficiently communicate between different parts of the app, making sure data and events are passed quickly and seamlessly.


RoundedImageView

We use RoundedImageView (com.makeramen:roundedimageview) to show images with smooth, rounded corners. This enhances the visual style of our app without needing extra resources.


ExoPlayer

We use ExoPlayer (com.google.android.exoplayer) to play audio and video within the app. It supports many formats, offers smooth playback, and includes advanced features like adaptive streaming and DRM protection.


BaseRecyclerViewAdapterHelper

We use BaseRecyclerViewAdapterHelper (io.github.cymchad:BaseRecyclerViewAdapterHelper) to manage lists and grids in the app. It helps create smooth and dynamic list views with minimal coding, including animations and quick data updates.


Lottie Animations

We use Lottie (com.airbnb.android:lottie) for high-quality animations in the app. It uses JSON-based animations, ensuring smooth, lightweight visuals that enhance the app's interface.


Hilt for Dependency Injection

We use Hilt to manage dependencies in our app. It helps structure the app efficiently, especially when using the MVVM architecture (Model-View-ViewModel).


Kotlin Coroutines

We use Kotlin Coroutines (org.jetbrains.kotlinx:kotlinx-coroutines-core and org.jetbrains.kotlinx:kotlinx-coroutines-android) for smooth background tasks. This allows for quick operations like fetching data or updating the UI without slowing down the app.


In-App Purchases

We use IAP (com.github.akshaaatt:Google-IAP) and BillingClient (com.android.billingclient:billing) to handle in-app purchases safely and securely.


System Splash Screen

We use System Splash Screen (androidx.core:core-splashscreen:1.0.0-beta01) to create a smooth and visually appealing splash screen when the app starts.


Root Checking (RootBeer)

We use RootBeer (com.scottyab:rootbeer-lib:0.1.0) to detect if a device is rooted. This improves security by preventing unauthorized access to the app's features or data.


Shimmer Effect

We use Shimmer (com.facebook.shimmer:shimmer) to create a shimmering effect as a placeholder while loading content, giving a polished feel to the app.


Gson

We use Gson (com.google.code.gson:gson) to convert data between Java objects and JSON. This is helpful when processing API responses or storing structured data.


Dexter (Permission Handling)

We use Dexter (com.karumi:dexter) to simplify how the app requests and manages permissions. It provides a clean and user-friendly experience when accessing permissions.


String Obfuscation

We use Paranoid (io.michaelrocks.paranoid) to secure and hide sensitive strings within the app, adding an extra layer of security.

    • Downloading app updates

🔋 Wake Lock

  • Purpose: Prevents the device from going into sleep mode or dimming the screen while using the app. This ensures uninterrupted video playback and smooth downloading.


📞 Read Phone State

  • Permission: android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE

  • Purpose: Helps the app detect incoming and outgoing calls.

    • Automatically pauses video playback during a call.

    • Displays the "After Call Screen" when the call ends for a smooth experience.


🪟 System Alert Window

  • Permission: android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW

  • Purpose: Allows the app to show floating windows or overlays over other apps.

    • Especially useful for the "After Call Screen" feature.

    • Enables showing a floating video player even if you exit the main app.


🔋 Ignore Battery Optimizations

  • Permission: android.permission.REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS

  • Purpose: Prevents the app from being restricted by battery-saving features.

    • Ensures that the "After Call Screen" launches seamlessly, even if the device is in Doze mode or has background restrictions.


📱 Hardware Telephony

  • Purpose: Ensures that reminders and alarms trigger at the exact time, even in power-saving modes.

    • This is crucial for the "After Call Screen" feature, helping set precise reminders to resume video playback.



8. Data Retention and Deletion

All Application data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the App, all locally stored data will be deleted from your device. Any data collected by third-party services is subject to their data retention policies.


9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete such information.
