Bio

Hsiu-Chuan Lee is a full professor and serves as the chair of the department of finance at the Ming Chuan University in Taiwan. He also a quant trader at AI (Artistic Investor) Style. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Graduate School of Business Administration of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. After receiving his Ph.D. degree, he worked in the futures proprietary trading desk at Chinatrust Banking Corporation (CTBC) Financial Holding Co., Ltd. and took in charge of quantitative trading.

After leaving CTBC, he worked at the department of finance of the Ming Chuan University (MCU).  At Ming Chuan University, his research focuses empirical finance. Especially, he is interested in derivatives market, asset pricing, and applied financial econometrics. His work has appeared in the Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Journal of Futures Markets, Journal of Forecasting, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, International Review of Economics and Finance, Economic Modelling, North American Journal of Economics and Finance, and Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting. He also collaborated with financial industries with focusing on integrating the empirical finance and new trend of technology.
