What is "Ham Radio?"
Amateur Radio (ham radio) is a popular hobby and service that brings people, electronics and communication together. People use ham radio to talk across town, around the world, or even into space, all without the Internet or cell phones. It's fun, social, educational, and can be a lifeline during times of need.

LEADERSHIP
Mike is Hamilton County ARES' Emergency Coordinator. He has had his license since June of 2014. He became the EC for HCINARES in October of 2023 and has been working hard to get this group up and running.
Nate is Hamilton County ARES' Assistant Emergency Coordinator. He got his license in April of 2023 and has been interested in emergency communications since. He joined HCINARES in November of 2023 and became the AEC soon after.
