The pseudostem extracts were subjected to the determination of its phytochemical contents, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties. It utilized aqueous extraction method in maintaining the integrity of the sap extracts and to realize the effectivity of the M. textilis pseudostem sap being utilized in traditional medicine.

Cancer is a lethal disease around the world where everyone can have this disease regardless of age, sex, and race. By evaluating the antimitotic and antioxidant activity of an extract is a stepping stone to elliminate cancers. This study assessed the antimitotic and antioxidant activity of Tibig (F. nota) fruit extract via determining the percentage of mitotic index and other anomalies in A. cepa test and comparing the ascorbic acid into the fruit extract to determine the inhibition rate in DPPH assay. This study was conducted to maximized the use of native fruit as the demand in natural medicinal treatments increases through testing the secondary metabolites of F. nota fruit extract.

The Prothrombin Time (PT) test reveals potent anticoagulant properties, with prolonged coagulation times in mice blood. DESCRIPTION:

This study assessed the texture, color, and oil absorption properties of okra and aloe vera gel-coated eggplant in comparison to uncoated eggplant during deep-frying. Three replications of the experiment were subjected to the same amounts of gel in five different treatments, including the uncoated eggplant as a control. This study was also conducted to determine which treatment is most efficient in limiting the oil absorption in deep-fried eggplant. Frying eggplant in a mixture of aloe vera and okra gel can significantly reduce the amount of oil absorbed, which lowers the number of calories and health risks associated with high-fat meals. This allows individuals to indulge in fried meals with less guilt and potential health issues, which is in keeping with customers' rising demand for healthier eating options.

This study evaluates the cytotoxic and genotoxic activities of the Bagawak-morado ethanolic leaf extracts. The cytotoxic effect was evaluated with the use of the Brine Shrimp Lethality Assay where the mortality rate was the basis of the extract's cytotoxicity while the genotoxic activity was assessed through the use of the Allium cepa test. The genotoxicity was measured through the mitotic index and the appearance of chromosomal aberrations in onion root tips.

This study attempted to assess the viability of Hoya pubicalyx Merr. as an anti inflammatory treatment for first degree burn wound recuperation. This plant is a valuable resource that is readily available in the area. This study aimed to support Bolinget’s and Panahon’s studies on Hoya pubicalyx phytochemicals with potential anti-inflammatory and healing properties and contribute to the community by demonstrating that it can also be used as a substitute drug and as a natural treatment for first-degree burn wounds.
