Mission Statement
The mission statement of the Hawaiian Civic Club of Ka'ū is "Ho'omalu, Ho'omau, Ho'opi'i, Mālama."
Ho'omalu - To protect our natural and cultural resources.
Ho'omau - To perpetuate the traditional practices specific to Ka'ū
Ho'opi'i - To promote values and practices that enhances our community.
Mālama - To preserve the 'ike (knowledge) of our kupuna based in the spirit of Lōkahi (unity).
Monthly Meetings
Monthly meetings for members are on the 3rd Thursday of every month.
Meetings are held ONLINE via ZOOM. All members are provided with the Meeting Link.
Guests may request to attend, share or present at a meeting. Please email hawaiiancivicclubkau@gmail.com at least 2 weeks prior to the meeting you would like to attend. You will be contacted to confirm your attendance.
For 2021, due to COVID-19 and for the healthy and safety of our members, the Hawaiian Civic Club of Ka'ū Executive Board has cancelled all in-person meetings for the year until further notice.

Membership Dues - Per Calendar Year
$20 - Adult (18+ years)
$5 - 'Opio (5-17 years)
If you join between October 1 - December 31, your membership will be for the remainder of the current year, plus the following year.
