If you want a robust over-ear solution with massive battery life and adaptive noise cancellation for long sessions, choose havit Space S1; if you need ultra-portable in-ear audio with high-resolution decoding and a hybrid driver system for critical listening on the go, choose TOZO Golden X1.
• havit Space S1: Delivers industry-leading -45dB hybrid adaptive noise cancellation and up to 100 hours of playtime, making it the ultimate companion for travel and long workdays; however, its over-ear design and 280g weight may feel bulky for users seeking minimalism or those with smaller headframes.
• TOZO Golden X1: Features a sophisticated hybrid driver setup (Balanced Armature + 12mm Dynamic) supporting LDAC and Hi-Res Audio Wireless for audiophile-grade clarity in a compact form factor; yet, being an in-ear model without active noise cancellation specs listed, it relies on passive isolation and offers significantly shorter battery endurance compared to the S1.
• Who each pick is for: The havit Space S1 is built for the commuter, traveler, or office worker who needs to block out the world for hours, while the TOZO Golden X1 targets the audiophile or fitness enthusiast prioritizing sound fidelity and portability above all else.
The havit Space S1 is engineered for individuals who spend significant time in noisy environments and demand uninterrupted focus. Its standout feature is the hybrid adaptive noise cancellation capable of reaching -45dB, which effectively silences the hum of airplanes, subway trains, and busy offices. This isn't just about blocking sound; it's about creating a personal sanctuary where you can immerse yourself in music or calls without distraction. If you are someone who commutes daily or works in an open-plan office, this level of isolation is transformative.
Battery anxiety is a real issue for many travelers, but the Space S1 eliminates that concern entirely. With up to 100 hours of playtime when ANC is off and 72 hours with it on, a single charge lasts for days of continuous use. You can pack these headphones for a week-long trip and likely not need to plug them in until you return home. The 2-hour charging time ensures that even if you do forget to charge them overnight, a quick top-up restores a substantial amount of listening time. This makes the Space S1 an ideal choice for frequent flyers, digital nomads, or anyone who simply doesn't want to think about their device's power status.

Comfort and connectivity are also key selling points here. The over-ear design with polyurethane ear cushions is intended to provide a secure fit for extended periods, which is particularly relevant for bluetooth headset for big head users who often struggle with tight clamping force from smaller models. The inclusion of Bluetooth 6.0 ensures a stable connection within a 10-meter range, while dual-device support allows you to seamlessly switch between your phone and laptop. Whether you are taking a call on your mobile while listening to a podcast on your computer, the app-controlled EQ lets you tailor the sound profile to your specific preferences. However, the 280g weight means these are not "wear them all day without noticing" headphones for everyone; they are substantial pieces of technology designed for serious listening rather than fleeting moments.
The TOZO Golden X1 is designed for the listener who treats audio quality as the primary metric of value. Unlike the noise-canceling powerhouse of the havit, the Golden X1 focuses entirely on the purity of the sound signal. It achieves this through a unique hybrid driver configuration, combining a customized Balanced Armature driver with a 12mm Dynamic Driver. This combination allows the earbuds to handle extreme frequencies with precision: the dynamic driver delivers deep bass down to 12Hz, while the balanced armature handles crisp treble up to 44.1kHz, exceeding human hearing limits to capture ultrasonic details like dolphin sounds or the shimmer of cymbals. If you are an audiophile who notices every nuance in a recording, this is the device for you.
Portability is the second pillar of the Golden X1's appeal. As an in-the-ear model, it sits flush against your head, making it invisible to others and easy to slip into a pocket. There is no neck strain from heavy over-ear cups, and the lack of a large battery pack keeps the profile slim. This makes it perfect for runners, gym-goers, or anyone who wants to carry their music everywhere without the bulk of a full headphone set. The inclusion of LDAC technology supports streaming at speeds up to 990 kbit/s, transmitting three times more data than standard Bluetooth codecs. This high-bitrate transmission is crucial for preserving the integrity of high-resolution files, ensuring what you hear is exactly what was recorded.
While the in-ear design provides some passive noise isolation due to the seal in the ear canal, it cannot actively cancel out the roar of a jet engine or the chatter of a crowded room like the havit Space S1 does. Furthermore, the frequency range and driver complexity suggest a product tuned for critical listening in relatively quiet environments rather than chaotic ones. This makes the Golden X1 less suitable for the memory foam ear cushions earbuds for big head demographic, as it lacks the cushioning and clamping adjustment mechanisms typical of larger over-ear designs. It is strictly for those who prioritize sound fidelity and portability over environmental isolation.
• Best for battery life → havit Space S1: With 100 hours of playback, it dwarfs any portable earbud option, making it the only logical choice for multi-day trips.
• Best for sound fidelity → TOZO Golden X1: The hybrid driver system and LDAC support offer a wider frequency response and higher resolution than the standard drivers found in most consumer headphones.
• Best for noise isolation → havit Space S1: The -45dB adaptive ANC actively removes background noise, whereas the TOZO relies solely on passive fit.
• Best for comfort during long wear → havit Space S1: The over-ear design distributes weight differently, though the 280g mass requires consideration for those sensitive to headband pressure.
• Best for portability and discretion → TOZO Golden X1: The in-ear form factor is unobtrusive and fits easily into small pockets, unlike the bulky case required for the Space S1.
• Best for tech enthusiasts → TOZO Golden X1: Supports cutting-edge codecs like LDAC and OrigX Pro, appealing to those who want to maximize their music source quality.
• Best for big heads seeking stability → havit Space S1: The over-ear architecture generally accommodates larger head sizes better than the in-ear fit, provided the clamping force is managed by the user.
• Best for dual-device workflows → havit Space S1: Native dual connection allows seamless switching between devices without manual re-pairing, a feature absent in the single-device TOZO design.
In my opinion, the havit Space S1 is the superior choice for the vast majority of users, especially those who identify as having a big head or who spend long hours in transit. The combination of -45dB noise cancellation and 100-hour battery life creates a utility that the TOZO Golden X1 simply cannot match. While the Golden X1 offers incredible sound detail, its reliance on passive isolation and smaller form factor limits its versatility in real-world scenarios like commuting or working in loud offices. I would buy the havit Space S1 because it solves the two biggest pain points of modern audio consumption: noise and battery anxiety. It transforms a chaotic environment into a focused space, something the TOZO Golden X1, despite its technical prowess, cannot achieve.
No, the TOZO Golden X1 are in-ear buds and may not fit securely for all larger head shapes due to the lack of adjustable headbands. The havit Space S1 is an over-ear model specifically noted for its spacious design, making it a much stronger candidate for users with larger head dimensions.
While it offers comfort for long sessions, it is distinct from traditional memory foam, though the design aims to accommodate various head sizes comfortably.
The havit Space S1 is the clear winner for travel, featuring active hybrid adaptive noise cancellation rated at -45dB. The TOZO Golden X1 does not list active noise cancellation capabilities, relying instead on the physical seal of the earbud for isolation.
The TOZO Golden X1 data sheet does not mention dual-device connectivity. In contrast, the havit Space S1 explicitly supports connecting to two devices simultaneously, allowing you to switch between a phone and a laptop effortlessly.
