Enchant Las Vegas has returned to the Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin, NV with a new story and theme. "Reindeer Games", though not what you would expect it to be, was a fun and clever way to keep the audience engaged while they get through the maze.
Enchant LV 2024: Experience
This year's theme tells the story of the jolly fat man himself being late for their test flight. So then the reindeer and some friendly forest animals engage in a game of Keep Away with the magic bells that give you the powers of flight, the winner being able to lead the flight. Through this game, the magic bells were displaced. Can you help Santa find the forest animals and the magical bells in time to save Christmas?
Guests can start the experience one of two ways, the Las Vegas Ballpark is conveniently separated into 2 sections: The Christmas Market and The Maze. The main entrance takes you to the Christmas Market; here you can browse vendors and get a wide angle view of the entire maze from different vantage points as you keep walking. The entrance is also relocated to the opposite side this year so prepare to walk to get to it. If you prefer to be right in the middle of it all, then you may skip the Christmas Market and hit The Maze first. In the maze this year, you'll find friendly forest animals, magic bells and countless photo-ops. It'll require patience to get the right shot because of the lighting and crowd, but you should end up with great memories afterward. Gone this year were the bigger lighting installations from the previous years; so this made the overall footprint also smaller. The performance stage was also relocated to a smaller platform. Other activities include: ice skating, mini golfing and activities with Mrs. Claus. Unfortunately, Santa was not present when we attended but he's probably getting ready for next Christmas already. Kids probably leave the naughty list once they visit Enchant.
Enchant LV 2024: Conclusion
Coming from someone that has visited the last couple seasons, this year's Enchant was scaled back overall. We liked Enchant for it's huge displays of lights and for the massive size of the maze. As for photo-ops, it tends to get tight with the crowd either waiting to be next or just trying to pass through and find the missing bells. It would be great to have a separate photo-op area next time if the footprint remains the same. Since the entrance has moved, it also felt less grand as there didn't seem to be snow or Santa's elves greeting you like previous seasons. Perhaps by scaling down, it allows for more time for photos and to attempt to save Christmas. Parking is still complimentary which is definitely appreciated in Las Vegas. Enchant still remains the largest "maze" we've walked through. Though smaller, there is still lots to do and something for everyone.
