Launy Grondahl Trombone Concerto

I'm looking for Launy Grondahl's trombone concerto. Does anyone have the sheet music for it that they're willing to scan and upload? It is in the public domain, and I'll happily upload it to IMSLP as well. I've tried r/trombone with no success, as well as my university's library.

I'm looking for trombone concerto recommendations. I hadn't realized there are so many of them, and looking at lists online I'm struggling to narrow them down to a manageable handful that I can check out. Thanks for your help.

Despite its value in the orchestra, the number of trombone concertos written for it pales compared to those for all the rest of the instruments--you can count the number known to the average music lover on less than one finger. Yet, they do exist, and while they have a long history, most performances of them take place on conservatory and university programs.

Vagn Holmboe was one of Denmark's most important composers in the twentieth century with almost 400 works in many genres. He was born in Horsens and was admitted to the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copen-hagen, where his teachers included Finn Hffding. Holmboe was greatly influenced by Carl Nielsen, but Sibelius, Stravinsky and Haydn were also close to his heart. On several study trips Holmboe was strongly inspired by eastern European folk music and particularly by Bla Bartk. Holmboe wrote several works for brasses, including two outstanding quintets, a sonata for trombone and piano and the trombone concerto. The last of these is one of his many chamber concertos; it was composed in 1950 and is a typical example of Holmboe's energetic and lyrical musical idiom. His fondness for eastern European folk music shines through here both rhythmically and harmonically. The solo cadenza was composed in close cooperation with the Danish trombonist Palmer Traulsen, who left his strong mark on it. The printed cadenza is very much a demonstration of the trends of the day in trombone technique. The cadenza played here is an attempt to capture Holmboe's original plan and general style. be457b7860
