If you want a heavy-duty, high-temperature 90-degree elbow for larger intercooler or turbo piping on your project car, choose Haturmyko ID 1.25; if you need a compact, precise connector for smaller coolant lines or tight engine bay plumbing on a daily driver, choose OXCANO 3/4.
• Haturmyko ID 1.25: Offers massive thermal resilience up to 300°C and a robust 4-ply wall, but its bulkier 4-inch leg length makes it unsuitable for cramped spaces. Best for serious performance builds where heat and pressure are the primary concerns.
• OXCANO 3/4: Delivers a slim, flexible 3-ply design perfect for delicate coolant loops and tight bends, yet it has a lower burst pressure rating and maximum temperature limit compared to its larger counterpart. Best for standard maintenance, radiator repairs, and custom intake runs where space is limited.
When I look at the specifications for the Haturmyko ID 1.25, what immediately stands out is its sheer capacity to handle extreme conditions. This isn't just a piece of rubber; it is a piece of engineering designed to withstand the punishing environment of a high-performance engine bay. The 1.25-inch inner diameter provides a generous flow area, which is critical when you are trying to move large volumes of air through an intercooler system or manage the exhaust gases from a turbocharger. The 4-inch leg length is substantial, giving you plenty of room to maneuver around other components without forcing a sharp bend that could restrict airflow.
The material construction tells a story of durability. The working temperature range extends from -60°C all the way to 300°C, with a burst pressure rating of 1MPA. That is a significant margin of safety. If you are building a vehicle that sees hard use on a track or a dedicated road trip setup where you might be pushing the limits of the engine, this level of thermal and pressure resistance gives me confidence that the connection won't fail when things get hot.
However, this product is not for everyone. The size is its defining characteristic, and that can be a dealbreaker in certain applications. A 1.25-inch tube is quite large, and the 4-inch legs mean you need clearance. If you are trying to route hoses through a tight firewall or near suspension components on a modern sedan with a packed engine bay, this elbow simply won't fit. While that weight difference is negligible in the grand scheme of a car, it does indicate a denser, more rigid product that requires more force to install if the tubing is stiff. You should buy this if you have a specific need for high-flow, high-temp routing in a spacious layout. Skip it if you are doing minor repairs on a standard cooling system or if your tubing diameter is significantly smaller than 1.25 inches.

The OXCANO 3/4 coupler takes a completely different approach, focusing on precision and adaptability for smaller scale systems. It is soft enough to conform to complex paths but tough enough to hold its shape once clamped down. This makes it ideal for intricate setups where every millimeter counts, such as routing heater core lines, small diameter intercooler pipes, or custom fuel return lines (though note the compatibility warnings).
One of the most practical aspects of this design is its temperature and pressure profile. Rated for -40°C to 250°C and a maximum of 80 PSI, it covers the vast majority of standard automotive needs. Most factory cooling systems and moderate boost applications fall comfortably within these parameters. The black finish is also a subtle but important detail; it blends seamlessly into the engine bay, hiding the hose so well that it looks like part of the original equipment rather than an aftermarket add-on. For a family road trip, where reliability and ease of repair are paramount, having a hose that fits standard clamps and handles everyday heat cycles without issue is invaluable.
That said, this product has clear trade-offs. The 80 PSI burst limit is significantly lower than the 1MPA capability of the larger Haturmyko unit. If you are running high-boost turbocharged engines, this hose might be too weak for the main charge air path. Similarly, the 250°C maximum operating temperature means it cannot handle the extreme exhaust-side temperatures that the Haturmyko can survive. The package also notes that it is not compatible with fuel or oil, so you must ensure you are using it only for air, water, or coolant applications. Buy this if you need a reliable, space-saving solution for cooling or intake piping on a street-driven vehicle. Skip it if your application demands extreme thermal endurance or high-pressure integrity beyond 80 PSI.
• Best for High-Heat Environments → Haturmyko ID 1.25 with a 300°C rating handles far more thermal stress than the OXCANO's 250°C cap.
• Best for High Boost/Pressure → Haturmyko ID 1.25 offers a 1MPA burst pressure versus the OXCANO's 80 PSI limit.
• Best for Standard Cooling Systems → OXCANO 3/4 is perfectly rated for typical radiator and heater core flows without over-engineering the fit.
• Best for Visual Integration → OXCANO 3/4 often blends better in smaller, cleaner engine bays due to its lower profile.
• Best for Family Road Trips → OXCANO 3/4 is generally more suitable for maintaining stock or slightly modified cooling systems where reliability and fitment are key.
• Best for Custom Turbo Builds → Haturmyko ID 1.25 provides the necessary flow capacity and heat resistance for aggressive performance upgrades.
In my opinion, the OXCANO 3/4 is the safer, more practical choice for the average buyer, especially those looking to maintain their vehicle during long journeys like a family road trip. Its ability to fit into tighter spaces and handle standard coolant and air pressures makes it the most versatile tool for general automotive repair and mild modification. However, if you are building a dedicated performance machine where heat management is the single most critical factor, the Haturmyko ID 1.25 is the only logical option. For my own garage, if I were fixing a leak on my daily driver before heading out on a long drive, I would reach for the OXCANO. But if I was assembling a new turbo kit for a track day, the Haturmyko would be the first thing I ordered. Both are solid products defined by their specific niches, so the winner depends entirely on the diameter and pressure requirements of your specific project.
No, both products are explicitly designed for air, water, coolant, and turbo/intercooler applications. Neither manufacturer recommends using them with fuel, oil, or petroleum-based fluids, so you must use fuel-rated hose for those systems.
This contributes to the higher pressure rating of the Haturmyko unit.
Yes, the OXCANO data sheet specifically lists marine uses as a compatible application, and the Haturmyko's broad temperature range also suggests suitability for similar environments, provided the fluid type matches the material ratings.
Neither product includes hose clamps in the package. You will need to purchase separate clamps rated for the specific pressure and temperature conditions of your installation to ensure a secure seal.
