PRIVACY POLICY — HATSUONA

Hatsuona ("the app") is a Japanese pronunciation coach. This policy explains how
the app handles your information. In short: Hatsuona does not collect, transmit, or
share any personal data. The app works fully offline and has no accounts.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
None. Hatsuona does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email, or any
personal information, and contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking
SDKs.
MICROPHONE
The app uses the microphone only while you are actively practicing, to score your
pronunciation and pitch. Your audio is processed on your device for that scoring and
is not saved after the analysis, never uploaded by Hatsuona, and never shared.
SPEECH RECOGNITION
To rate pronunciation accuracy, the app uses Apple's Speech framework. On devices
that support on-device recognition, transcription runs entirely on your device and no
audio leaves it. On devices without an on-device model, transcription may be processed
by Apple's speech-recognition service, which is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy
(https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). Hatsuona itself does not receive, store, or
transmit that audio.
LEARNING PROGRESS
Your scores, streaks, review schedule, XP, and settings are stored only on your device
(in the app's local storage). This data is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Deleting the app removes it.
CHILDREN
Hatsuona is suitable for all ages (rated 4+). Because it collects no data, it collects
no data from children.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new
effective date.

マイク
マイクは、練習中に発音と音高を採点するためだけに使用します。音声は採点のために端末上で
処理され、解析後に保存されることはなく、Hatsuona がアップロードすることも、共有すること
もありません。
音声認識
発音の正確さを評価するため、Apple の Speech フレームワークを使用します。端末内認識に対応
した端末では、文字起こしは完全に端末上で行われ、音声が端末外に出ることはありません。端末
内モデルがない端末では、文字起こしが Apple の音声認識サービスで処理される場合があり、その
場合は Apple のプライバシーポリシー(https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/)が適用されます。
Hatsuona 自体はその音声を受信・保存・送信しません。
学習の進捗
スコア・連続日数・復習スケジュール・XP・設定は、端末内のみ(本アプリのローカル保存)に保存
されます。これらが当方や第三者に送信されることはありません。アプリを削除すると消去されます。
お子様について
Hatsuona は全年齢対象(4+)です。データを収集しないため、お子様からもデータを収集しません。
変更
本ポリシーを変更する場合、更新版を新しい発効日とともにこの URL に掲載します。

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") before using Hatsuona ("the app"). By
downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
LICENSE
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use
the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial learning
use, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
EDUCATIONAL USE
Hatsuona is a study aid for Japanese pronunciation and pitch accent. Pronunciation
scores, pitch analysis, and synthesized example audio are provided for learning and may
not always reflect a single "correct" standard; treat them as guidance, not as an
authoritative assessment.
ACCEPTABLE USE
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise misuse the app beyond what
applicable law permits.
NO WARRANTY
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express
or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Your use of the app is at your
own risk.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect,
incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the
app.
APPLE
Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content.
Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app.
CHANGES
These Terms may be updated; the current version will be posted at this URL with a new
effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
