Music on the Hill 5K Race and Festival

August 24, 2019

A big thank you to everyone who made the 2018 Music on the Hill festival and 5K race a success. We could not have done it without the volunteers, sponsors, participants, and attendees. Mark your calendar for the 2019 5K race. We'll be back with the festival in 2020.

Festival and Race Proceeds

Your participation in the Music on the Hill 5K race and support of the festival truly make a difference in the lives of others. Proceeds from the race and festival are used for local missions. Past proceeds have been used to:

*Purchase a scooter for a missionary in Ghana who had to travel to churches which were many miles apart.

*Help with the down payment of a handicapped accessible van for a gentleman with MS.

*Help to pay for hearing aids for a gentleman who lost his hearing as a result of the chemotherapy used to treat his cancer.

This year we asked for help in identifying needs in our community. Race participants and festival attendees were given an opportunity to participate in our Mission Think Tank by submitting information about needs in our community not being met by other agencies. We will review all submissions and use Music on the Hill proceeds to help meet some of those needs.
