I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Finance, Jagannath University, Dhaka, and a non-resident fellow at the Centre for Development Economics and Sustainability (CDES), Monash University (Australia). Previously, I worked as Lecturer at the Department of Finance and Banking, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Trishal, Mymensingh. 

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from Monash University, Australia, an MSc in Development Finance from the University of Reading (UK), and an MBA in Finance from the University of Dhaka (Bangladesh). I have also completed my BBA in Finance from the University of Dhaka (Bangladesh). 

My current research interests, among others, include education, human development, Bangladesh, rural household finance, etc.
