Harvested is a Holiday Horror Film franchise that is centered around a small town farmer that returns from the dead to serve vengeance on Thanksgiving Day. Although it is a horror slasher film, it contains many cultural subliminals and undertones that shine light on racial atrocities from the past. With an original story line, Harvested introduces a new monster by the name of Harold Rice aka the Harvest Monster, a deranged farmer that owns all of the land in a small town. He is targeted by rival farmers and large corporations that want his land and crops. After being maimed and burned alive and robbed for his crops and land on Thanksgiving Day, Harold Rice returns from the dead to serve vengeance on Thanksgiving night. Harold Rice is played by Gregor Haley, with SFX creature concept design by none other than Veniesa Dillion and soundtrack music from hip hop artists Cazo Cas, Judell Rome and ClintD.
Harvested (2021) follows a group of rappers who make a motel pit-stop in a small town while taking a road-trip on Thanksgiving Day. Their stay is cut short by the town legend who returns from the dead to serve vengeance on Thanksgiving night. Starring Elester Latham, Ariel Brown, Dean Wil, Miranda Kathleen, Gregor Haley, Penny Q, Shane Liburd, and Andrew Garrett, with original music from Judell Rome and Clintd.

As a horror film from Ali West Ashe, a black filmmaker, that’s lead by black actors, with a black monster, the film has drawn comparisons to Candyman (2021). Although Harvested premiered months after Candyman (2021), it was written and conceptualized in 2019. The Watts Monster, Jimmy Bones and Candyman now have a new successor… His Name is Harold Rice aka The Harvest Monster! We plan to make it a franchise that spans across decades like Halloween, Friday the 13th and Freddy. The Harvested sequel, Harvested 2 – The Legend of Harold Rice are now streaming, Harvested 3 is already in development and preparing for its drop on Thanksgiving Day 2023. stay tapped in!

I wrote Harvested in 2019
and right away I submitted it to several screenplay festivals and fellowships. Not only did it NOT get selected but it didn’t even place in the top 400 in one of the larger fellowships.
I shared it with my associates and many of them were floored by the originality and creativity. I knew that I had a great film on my hands so I filmed it with my own money. I still receive a ton of ridicule and negative criticism but I don’t give a sh*t. I’m committed to making a Harvested film every year for the next 5 years. If it doesn’t blow up by then, then I guess the doubters and critics were right.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HAS PARTICIPATED IN OR SHOWED LOVE TO THIS FRANCHISE 🙏🏾
