West Hartford registered democrat and former Fox News associate Julia Skrobak has become the new Director of Communications and Marketing at Hartford Public Schools.
Skrobak replaces Jesse Sugarman who recently left HPS for Travelers. Skrobak had been Sugarman's assistant over the past two years.
In a recent Hartford Courant article concerning the governor's attack on cell phones in the classroom, Skrobak stated that HPS recently purchased 5,400 Yonder pouches at a "significant discount." The same story stated that Brookfield High School received a quote of $36,000 for 1,000 Yonder pouches. That same quote for HPS' 5,400 purchased pouches would result in a bill of $194,000.
What did HPS pay for their Yonder pouches? What was the "significant discount?" Will more be purchased?
It's great when your communications guru leaves the audience with more questions than they had before she started talking.
