Flowers are used for decoration purpose for many events around the world because they enhance the grace of the event. Flowers used while worshipping have spiritual and cultural significance. They carry the prayers and emotions of devotees. Flowerist depend on fresh flowers for their livelihood. But as soon as the event is over, or worship is over, or flowers are not fresh any more, they are treated as waste and usually end up in canals/drain. This becomes a huge environmental problem.
Harshdeep Foundation collects this floral waste and re-purposes it for creating organic Agarbatti and Dhup. Focus is also given towards involving community women to empower them financially. Thus with this socially responsible approach, Harshdeep Foundation brings harmony between nature and spiritual practices.
