I am a Ph.D. student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, West Bengal, India working under the supervision of Prof. Sabyashachi Mishra of the department of chemistry and Prof. Sonjoy Majumder of the department of physics. My area of research is quantum computation, where I am working on applications of variational quantum algorithms and tensor networks in various fields like chemistry, quantum machine learning, etc. I come from a physics background, having done my BSc honors and MSc in Physics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India.
