I'm a 4th-year undergraduate student at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus pursuing a BE in Computer Science + MSc in Economics.
🎉 Exciting news!
Our work on detecting implicit geographical biases in LLMs has been accepted at COLM 2025!!🎉🎉
Our paper on building a comprehensive taxonomy for text watermarking has been accepted at NAACL 2025 Findings!🥳💥
I am interested in building human-AI collaborative NLP models. With Large Language Models (LLMs) becoming increasingly pervasive, I wish to develop agents that promote complementary human-AI collaboration. My previous work focuses on protecting textual authorship through watermarking methods in language models, using red teaming models to detect misinformation in visualizations, and gamifying model outcomes to detect implicit geographical biases in LLMs. Building off of my breadth-first knowledge, the goal is to create an ecosystem where AI is a trusted partner, enhancing our ability to tackle complex challenges in a complementary collaborative manner.
In this phase of personal growth, I believe in learning through doing! I have had the opportunity to work on several exciting projects and research initiatives with distinguished professors and mentors. I worked with Professor Ali Emami on exploring implicit geographic bias in LLMs. I am collaborating with Grace Guo, Professor Hanspeter Pfister (Visual Computing Group Harvard), and Raj Sanjay Shah (Georgia Institute of Technology), to propose a benchmark for evaluating misinformation detection capabilities of LLMs for visualizations. Previously, I have worked on building a comprehensive taxonomy for text watermarking with Professor Dongwon Lee (Penn State University), on generating free text explanations for authorship verifications with LLMs with Professor Xiang Ren in INK Lab under the mentorship of Sahana Ramnath. I have interned at Jio Platforms in Hyderabad, India, under the mentorship of Cherishma Reddy Kotha, where I tested the Automator.AI tool for automation techniques. Here are some of the projects on my GitHub profile.Â
In addition, I'm proficient in several programming languages, including Python, Java, and C++. I'm also familiar with several machine learning frameworks, especially Pytorch. I'm a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for using technology to solve complex problems.
I am looking for Research Internship opportunities (Remote and On-site).Â
Always happy to talk about research and have a coffee chat!
