Hi there! Welcome to my website!
I am a PhD candidate in Economics at University of Toronto. I am an applied microeconomist working on labor, health, and economic history. I am on the job market in 2026-2027!
My job market paper investigates the relationship between economic depression and unionization in late 19th-century U.S. More broadly, I study how distress and institutions shape labor, health, and family outcomes.
Spanning both historical and modern settings, my research integrates causal inference with economic modeling, drawing on census records, digitized documents, and administrative data.
