My love for event planning started while I was in college working toward my Bachelor's Degree. During that time, I interned with the Young Adults Ministry at my church, where I was responsible for planning their monthly “After Parties.” What started as a small responsibility quickly became something I truly loved—and that’s where my passion for creating meaningful and memorable events began!
After graduating in 2020 with my Bachelor's Degree in Church Leadership, I was hired as a Life Engagement Director at the retirement community where I had been working. For the next two years, I planned and coordinated daily activities, themed programs, and monthly events for residents. I later continued my career in Senior Living at another retirement community, working in the Activities Department as a Lead Life Engagement Assistant.
Over the past 8 years, I have gained valuable experience in planning, coordinating, organizing, and creating memorable experiences for others. Along the way, I have developed a strong eye for detail, a love for creativity, and the ability to bring people and teams together to make an event come to life.
In addition to my overall experience, I have 3 years of hospitality experience specifically focused on planning and coordinating weddings and special events. I have had the opportunity to help plan and execute a variety of celebrations, including:
From creating beautiful décor and coordinating event details to organizing timelines, communicating with clients and vendors, and leading setup and teardown teams, I love being involved in all the pieces that make a celebration come together.
And honestly, I truly enjoy every minute of it.
I created Harmony & Grace Celebrations because I want to use my experience and passion to help others bring their celebration dreams into reality. I know that planning a wedding or special event can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make the process feel organized, enjoyable, and as stress-free as possible.
