Hello, and a warm welcome to you here! I'm Hareesh Krishnan, a researcher and Engineering Consultant specializing in Thermal Engineering. Holding a post-graduation degree from the Cochin University of Science & Technology, Kerala, and a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kerala, I earned my Ph.D. from the Department of Energy and Environment at NIT Tiruchirappalli, where my research centered on developing a "Dynamic Wind Tower with Solar Heating and Humidity Control Hybrid System to Enhance Thermal Comfort in Buildings During Cold and Sunny Climates." 

Selected for the Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF) December 2020 cycle, I received the Best Paper Award for my work on "Natural Ventilation Performance of Wind Tower with Modified Heat Exchanger Device" at the Kerala Technological Congress 2017. Before my research career, I served as an Assistant Professor at Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, and as a part of the academic-industry collaboration, I gained industry exposure as a Thermal Engineering Consultant at Kumar Industries and later as the Technical Manager of Temperature Calibration at CL-DEE, NIT Trichy during the research period. Additionally, I managed the Computational Fluid Dynamics Laboratory and TGA, DSC equipment of the Testing & Analysis Laboratory (ISO 9001:2008 certified).

My research areas are natural ventilation, cold storage, energy storage, desiccant materials, and solar heating systems. My doctoral focus is on a "Dynamic Wind Tower with Humidity Control - Solar Heating Hybrid System," aiming to enhance thermal comfort in Cold and Sunny Climate Zones. Currently working on an "Optimal Temperature Hybrid Solar Water Heater," I aim to regulate water temperature and reduce energy consumption in conventional solar water heater systems.
