Heres a album i made only usin a 404 nothin else!
This is a result of lots of herbz and karate flix!

I bassicly sampled and sequenced all of it on the 404.
I would start with a drum break chop it up by settin my mark then reasmpling just the kick then the snare etc....
then i would do the same with the melodic samples and what not.
Then i would just make a drum pattern and do the flying lotus technique(copy save pattern trick) for a bunch of pattern then just lay my samples over the drums!
Then once i had all my patterns i would record it into soundforge and then master it in t-racks.
as u can tell some of the tracks the loops are kinda of choppy but some arent cuzz i learned its best to have the gate and loop button off when u do ya patterns!
So u really have to chop very precise and know where your end of the chops are gonna cut off at.
Sorry for goin on lol but ya i love the 404 it puts the fun in makin beats!
the efx and resampling is where the 404 really shines!

thanks man,ya its all the 404 and nothin else.
once i got my tracked i did do some mastering on the computer but otherewise all sampled and sequenced on the 404!

"did you use a midi trigger of some sort besides sp pads?"
    Most of those songs are 12 patterns or less.

Here is my new Beat Tape entitled Ol Dirty Kung Fu(A Tribute to Ol Dirty Bastard)
This was made only using a Boss SP-404 and mastered onto a Ol Dirty Tape Cassette!
Each Beat was freestyled and done on the spot,with no regard for structure,mix or quality!
I did this to represent the raw energy that was Ol Dirty Bastard.If you hear mad tape hiss get over it,
Im takin it back to ANALOG were we all come from!
