About Me

Hi! I am an assistant professor at Mays Business School in Texas A&M University.

I study how firms use nonmarket strategies, such as corporate philanthropy, to navigate stakeholder expectations and their divergent preferences regarding firms’ role in society, and the impact of these activities on both firms and society. My work has been published in the Strategic Management Journal and Organization Science.

My research has been recognized with several awards. I am a three-time recipient of various paper awards from the Strategic Management (STR) Division of the Academy of Management, including the Distinguished Paper Award in 2022 and 2018, as well as the 2019 Robert J. Litschert Award for my dissertation. My work has also been honored with the 2018 Outstanding Paper Award from the Annual Conference of the Alliance for Research on Corporate Sustainability (ARCS) and as Runner-up for the William C. Frederick SIM Doctoral Dissertation Award.
