# Privacy Policy for HappyMood Game Tracker

HappyMood Game Tracker (the **“App”**) is provided by **Pixels Studio** (**“we,” “us,” or “our”**). This Privacy Policy explains how
information is handled when you use the App.
## 1. Information You Add to the App
The App lets you create and manage a personal game library, game statuses,
favorites, notes, play sessions, goals, and playtime statistics.
This information is stored locally on your device. We do not operate an account
system or a server that receives your personal library, notes, sessions, goals,
or statistics.
You may choose to export your App data. An export is created only when you
request it and is sent to the destination or application you select through
Android's sharing interface. The selected destination may process the exported
file under its own privacy policy.
## 2. Game Search and Discovery
The App uses the Internet Game Database (**IGDB**) to provide game search,
cover images, metadata, popular games, recent releases, and upcoming games.
When you search for a game, your search terms and the technical information
needed to complete the request are transmitted to IGDB. Home discovery requests
are also sent to IGDB. Lightweight discovery results may be cached locally on
your device to improve performance and offline availability.
IGDB is operated as part of Twitch. Information processed by IGDB or Twitch is
subject to the [Twitch Privacy Notice](https://www.twitch.tv/p/legal/privacy-notice/).
We do not send your personal notes, session history, goals, exported data, or
other user-generated library content to IGDB or Twitch.
## 3. Advertising
The App uses **AppLovin MAX** to display app-open, interstitial, banner, and
native advertisements. AppLovin and advertising partners available through
MAX may automatically collect or receive information such as:
- Device make, model, operating system, screen, language, country, time zone,
and other device or application properties;
- IP address and network connection information;
- Advertising identifiers, including the Google Advertising ID, when available;
- App installation, session, performance, and advertising interaction data;
- Advertising preferences, consent status, and privacy restriction signals;
- Information about advertisements shown, viewed, clicked, or otherwise
interacted with.
This information may be used to provide, personalize, measure, secure, and
improve advertising, prevent fraud, and produce aggregated reporting. The exact
information collected depends on your device settings, permissions, location,
consent choices, and the advertising partners used to fill an ad.
We do not send AppLovin your game searches, personal notes, game library,
session history, goals, IGDB credentials, exported files, or other
user-generated content as advertising metadata. We send only generic ad
placement identifiers, such as the screen or product event where an ad
opportunity occurred.

## 4. Consent and Advertising Choices
Where required, the App may display a consent or privacy flow supported by
AppLovin MAX and its consent-management partners. Your available choices depend
on your location and applicable law.
When available, you can review or update advertising privacy choices through
**Settings > Manage Privacy Choices**. You can also reset or limit your Android
advertising identifier through your device's privacy settings. Changing these
settings may affect ad personalization but does not remove advertising from the
App.
## 5. Information We Do Not Request
The App does not require you to create an account and does not request your
name, email address, telephone number, precise location, contacts, photos,
microphone, or camera access.
We do not intentionally collect payment-card information or passwords through
the App.
## 6. How Information Is Used
Information handled by the App is used to:
- Maintain your local game library and preferences;
- Record sessions and calculate playtime statistics and goals;
- Search for and display game metadata and artwork;
- Cache discovery content for performance and offline use;
- Display, measure, and protect advertising;
- Maintain security, diagnose failures, and operate the App.
## 7. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your locally stored game library, notes, sessions, goals, or
statistics.
Information may be processed or shared in these limited circumstances:
- **IGDB/Twitch:** to provide game search, metadata, images, and discovery;
- **AppLovin and mediated advertising partners:** to deliver, personalize,
measure, and secure advertisements, subject to your applicable privacy
choices;
- **Services selected by you:** when you intentionally export or share App data;
- **Legal and safety requirements:** if disclosure is required by applicable
law or is reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security;
- **Business transfers:** if the App or its business is involved in a merger,
acquisition, financing, or sale, subject to applicable legal protections.
## 8. Data Storage and Retention
Your library, notes, sessions, goals, statistics, preferences, active-session
state, onboarding status, and discovery cache are stored on your device. They
remain there until you delete them through available App controls, clear the
App's Android storage, or uninstall the App. Discovery cache entries may be
replaced when refreshed.
Information independently collected by AppLovin, Twitch, IGDB, a mediated ad
network, or an export destination is retained according to that provider's own
policies.
## 9. Data Security
We use reasonable technical measures appropriate to the App's design, including
local application storage and encrypted HTTPS connections for remote services.
However, no storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot
guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security controls on your
device and for choosing secure destinations when exporting App data.
## 10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information,
including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a
copy of certain information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on
consent.
Because personal library and tracking information is stored locally, you can
manage much of it directly in the App or remove it by clearing the App's storage
or uninstalling it. Requests concerning information collected independently by
AppLovin, Twitch, or another third party should also be directed to that party.

## 11. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, or under the higher minimum age
required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children through an account system. Advertising providers may apply additional
age-related requirements. If you believe a child has provided personal
information in connection with the App, contact us so we can review the matter.
## 12. International Processing
Third-party services used by the App may process information in countries other
than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data
protection laws. Such processing is governed by the relevant provider's privacy
policy and applicable legal safeguards.
## 13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, third-party
services, or legal requirements. We will update the “Last updated” date when we
make changes. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or its
store listing where appropriate.
