Happy Diwali Wishes- Diwali is known as the festival of lights. It marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year and celebrates good over evil with fireworks, lamps, candles, sweets and family. The holiday lasts for five days and each day has its own name: Dhanteras, Naraka Chaturdasi, Choti Diwali or Kali Chaudas, Govardhan Puja or Annakoot Puja and Bhai Dooj. These are some Happy Diwali Wishes that are appropriate to share on each of these occasions.

Happy Diwali to all of my readers! This year, the festival is on November 4th. It's a celebration of light and knowledge that originated in India. The name "Diwali" comes from an ancient Sanskrit word meaning "row or series." People celebrate this holiday by lighting up their homes with rows of lights called diyas, which are made out of oil lamps, candles, or even fairy lights. The tradition also includes sending cards and gifts to friends and family members as well as exchanging small sweets like laddoos (a type of Indian sweet). These treats represent Lakshmi (the Goddess who brings wealth) coming into your home for good luck.
