Dr. Han-Yi Lin is a Postdoctoral Associates at University of Pittsburgh, specializing in enhancing the efficiency of mobile systems for on-device large language models. Previously, during his tenure at MediaTek, he focused on developing energy-aware task scheduling for mobile operating systems and optimizing performance and power efficiency for mobile applications. During his Ph.D. program, his research focused on two primary areas: (1) leveraging deep learning techniques to tackle computer vision challenges, particularly in video super-resolution, frame interpolation, and video deblurring; and (2) developing energy-efficient solutions for mobile devices, with a focus on GPU and OLED power management.
