Machine Learning Engineer in Medical Image Analysis
I am a post-doctoral researcher at Statistical Inference and Information Theory Laboratory (SIIT) in School of Electrical Engineering, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
I am interested in developing machine learning methods for processing, analyzing, and understanding medical images for various applications. The tasks I've worked on include organ/tissue segmentation, tumor/lesion classification, abnormality detection, and survival prediction.
I completed my Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Electrical Engineering at KAIST in 2019, 2013, and 2011, respectively.

(July 21, 2021) Our manuscript on deep learning classification of liver lesions in CT images has been published online in Medical Physics.
(July 20, 2021) Our abstract on uncertainty-based diagnosis of liver lesions in CT images has been accepted for oral presentation at RSNA 2021.
(July 12, 2021) Our domestic patent on deep learning prediction of treatment response for liver cancer patients has been registered.
(July 8, 2021) I have presented my work on test-time mixup uncertainty estimation at MIDL 2021.
(May 20, 2021) Our manuscript on radiomics analysis of hepatic focal lesions in CT images has been published online in European Radiology.
