Han Kyul Oh
Assistant Professor at Tilburg School of Economics and Management
Welcome!
My name is Han K. Oh, and I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systemst and Operations Management at Tilburg University located in the Netherlands.
My research lies at the interface between behavioral operations and business analytics, focusing on retail as the primary business context. Specifically, I investigate the impact of digital transformations, such as data-driven decision-making and digital transactions, and environmental regulations on retail operations – both of which are major challenges retailers face.
My hometown is in Orange County, California, and I graduated from Fairmont Preparatory Academy (Anaheim, CA). After high school, I relocated to the Republic of Korea, where I obtained a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a B.S. in Business and Technology Management from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). After my undergraduate education in Korea, I came back to America to Texas A&M University for my M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Ph.D. in Operations Management.
