Bio

I’m an early career researcher building on my strengths in biological research design, big data analytics, and bioinformatic software development. I'm currently pursuing my PhD in Bioinformatics at Temple University, where I work with Dr. Sergei Pond on evolutionary genomics. My research adds a new evolutionary model to Dr. Pond's existing software package, HyPhy. You can read more about the Multiclass Synonymous Substitution (MSS) model in my publications.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy exploring Philadelphia, playing board games, and spending time with friends.
