Marquise Rashad Holmes, a proud native of Vicksburg, Mississippi, is a multifaceted professional deeply rooted in faith, service, and community. A devoted member of Vibrant Church, Columbia, MS, Holmes exemplifies leadership, dedication, and compassion in every role he undertakes. 

Holmes’ educational journey reflects both discipline and ambition. A 2012 graduate of Vicksburg High School, he continued his studies at Hinds Community College, where he was actively involved as a member of the Hinds Eagle Band and assisted the Hinds Eagle Baseball Team. While at Hinds, he specialized in Architectural and General Drafting, earning a Career Certificate, an Associate of Applied Science in Engineering Drafting and Design Technology, and a Career Certificate in Emergency Medical Services. 

Currently, Holmes is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration with a concentration in EMS Administration at Columbia Southern University, continuing his commitment to leadership within emergency services and healthcare systems. 

Professionally, Holmes began his career at Merit Health River Region, where he served as an Emergency Room Technician and advanced into leadership and coordination roles, including Lead ER Technician, Supply Chain Coordinator, and Emergency Management Coordinator. These positions strengthened his expertise in emergency preparedness, logistics, and operational leadership. 

Holmes currently serves as an EMT with the Vicksburg Fire Department, where he provides frontline emergency medical care to the citizens of Vicksburg and Warren County. He also continues to serve as a Lieutenant Firefighter/EMT, EMS Training Officer, and Media Relations Liaison/ Public Information Officer with the Warren County Fire Services. Through his dedication to emergency response, training, and public service, Holmes remains committed to protecting lives and strengthening the community he proudly calls home.
