Hello all, I started shooting handball September this year (shooting other sports since mars this year) and i feld the first weeks my pictures where getting better realy fast week after week, i started to find out how the game worked, where i needed to be to catch the images, and could get right in the action.

but last weeks my photo's keep at the same level, there is totaly no improvement. and in my eyes, my photo's are far from good. i do not have the WOW efect i have with other handball pictures i see.

So please, can somebody give me some feedback. you can break my pictures down totaly, i have no problem with that, as long as i can learn from it, and try to get it better next time.

#4 - On this one, the fact that I don't know what sort of shots are possible with handball makes it hard for me to judge. It's a little "meh" for me and I'm not really sure why that is. Maybe try a much tighter crop and see whether you like that?

Most sports photographers shoot in M unless the lighting conditions are changing dramatically (clouds moving through, mix of shadow and sunlight on the field, etc.). The light and dark uniforms can fool the camera's meter too easily, particularly when you are shooting tight (which is generally the goal).

Ha, yes. WB is the bane of indoor sports photography. Unless the lights in the gym are fluorescent, you'll have to fix the color cycling during post-processing on each image individually. A gray card doesn't really help much.

Glad to help where I can. I'll provide a couple of comments on your soccer/football photos, but this is also a sport I haven't shot much other than very young youth sports (aka, herd-ball). My main sport is volleyball, but have also shot a fair bit of football (American), basketball, track and field.

Lomography's LomoChrome '92 is designed to mimic the look of classic drugstore film that used to fill family photo albums. As we discovered, to shoot with it is to embrace the unexpected, from strange color shifts to odd textures and oversized grain.

The LowePro PhotoSport Outdoor is a camera pack for photographers who also need a well-designed daypack for hiking and other outdoor use. If that sounds like you, the PhotoSport Outdoor may be a great choice, but as with any hybrid product, there are a few tradeoffs.

If you want a compact camera that produces great quality photos without the hassle of changing lenses, there are plenty of choices available for every budget. Read on to find out which portable enthusiast compacts are our favorites.

OP, it looks like for the handball game a little more speed would help. I would move to 1/500 and see how they look. I would try Manual 1/500 and 2.8 with auto ISO. If the auto ISO isn't giving you the exposures you want then move to selecting the ISO setting manually since Canon did not favor us with EC when using manual in conjunction with auto-ISO.

"There are days my knees hurt from rheumatism, but when I play it goes away," said 77-year-old Rosa Lima, who first began doing simple exercises eight years ago, then later took up team handball. She lives alone and looks forward to playing with her friends every week.

Team handball is an Olympic sport in which two teams of pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the other's goal. The games the grandmothers participate in are part of a program that El Alto sponsors to encourage older people to stay healthy by remaining active.

Despite the Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip, sports and sports competitions continue to thrive in Gaza, with football remaining the most dominant game, followed by basketball, handball, horse racing and swimming.

It is depicted in "The Right Stuff," and a still shot is used in "From the Earth to the Moon." My question is if any photos exist of the real event, or even of the movie version? I ask as we are looking for a photo of this for the Grissom Air Museum. Thank you in advance.

Registered: Nov 2001posted 10-14-2010 12:18 AM It was a scene that in my opinion was pretty hard to photograph. The card was on the instrument panel and Shepard saw it when he was settled in his couch. Then Glenn reached in and took the card off, according to what I read. Try making a good photo of that. I'm pretty sure such a photo does not exist...

Registered: Mar 2002posted 10-15-2010 09:59 AM I doubt there was a photo taken. Who would have taken it? Shepard? He didn't have a camera on him. Glenn? I'm sure he wasn't carrying a camera, either and I'm sure he didn't hold it up for the whiteroom photographer to see with the seriousness of what went on in that room that morning.

"We have agreed to put new measures in place to deal with this kind of situation and Nora thinks the measures are sufficient," Norway handball president Kare Geir Lio said after two days of talks with the star.

The rules of the sport require women to wear "bikini bottoms" with a "close fit" along with a "midriff design" top, while their male counterparts are permitted to wear sleeveless tank tops and shorts, as illustrated in the diagrams below, which are taken from the International Handball Federation's official rules of beach handball:

As part of a wave of outrage against the uniform requirements, and the punishment imposed, a popular post on the online forum Reddit purported to neatly and starkly illustrate the disparities involved in the male and female beach handball uniform regulations.

Underneath a caption that read "Mens beach-handball teams uniform vs. the women's uniform," a photograph showed what appeared to be a men's beach handball team, wearing tank tops and shorts, kneeling and standing next to their female counterparts, who are wearing bikini bottoms and "midriff" tops:

That photograph was genuine, and showed Norway's men's and women's beach handball teams, respectively, before their games against their Swedish counterparts, in June 2019. As such, we are issuing a rating of "True."

The picture was taken by the photographer Niclas Dovsj on June 7, 2019, in Ulricehamn, Sweden. It was posted online and on Facebook by the Norwegian Handball Federation, and can be seen in its original context, below:
