Hanci Chi (池汉慈) Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University
My name is Hanci Chi (池汉慈). I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pure Mathematics at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. I received my Ph.D. from McMaster University under the supervision of Prof. McKenzie Wang, where I began exploring cohomogeneity one geometries and Einstein equations. Following my doctorate, I completed a short-term postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Hradec Králové under Prof. Ioannis Chrysikos, and then from 2020 to 2022 held a second postdoctoral position at Sun Yat-sen University with Prof. Wei Yuan.
My research centers on the construction and analysis of special Riemannian metrics—especially Einstein metrics and Ricci solitons—on manifolds with high symmetry.
Please feel free to get in touch. You can find my updated CV here (as of May 11, 2025)
