Project Oceanology Summer Camp 2024

This camp is the perfect combination of art and science! Each day campers will explore the marine environment by boat and connect with nature.

Project Oceanology is working hard to plan a fun and healthy summer! Our mission for summer 2024 is to get kids outside and away from their devices for a week of fun on the water. We know that children who spend time outdoors are healthier and stronger, with stronger immune systems, lower stress, and longer attention spans. We work closely with our camp physician, the camp community, and the state of CT to ensure a safe and healthy environment at our summer camp. Many aspects of our camp allowed for safe practices even before the pandemic. Our 15.000 sq. ft. facility allows for camps to have their own labs, classrooms and open space for activities. Our shoreline studies take us to mile-long beaches and marshes, with plenty of room to explore. Aboard our vessels, we make full use of deck space… and gulps of fresh sea air!

Mystic Aquarium Summer Camp 2024

Mystic Aquarium offers week-long summer camps for budding marine biologists and conservationists during the months of June, July and August. They are offering an expanded array of unique and memorable camp experiences for children entering PreK-12th grade this summer!

Mystic Aquarium offers the perfect environment to enjoy and explore animals while having outdoor adventures in nature. Our camps are designed to engage our campers every day, whether they are indoors or outside. Each camp has its own dedicated classroom within the Milne Ocean Science and Conservation Center, which is separated from the general public to continue learning and exploration.

Ecology Camp is a summer day camp sponsored by the Clinton Park & Recreation Department, Clinton Land Conservation Trust and the Community Foundation of Middlesex County. The camp was established in 2007, because of the desire to educate children about local resources and for children to establish a love and appreciation of our fragile environment.

Campers, ages 7-11, attend this one-week program. The campers explore many different habitats. They search for invertebrates in tidepools, they use a beach seine to catch fish and they observe majestic osprey (and other shorebirds) in the salt marsh of the Clinton Town Beach.
