Scanner Printer ("App") is developed and operated by Muhammad Hammad Mushtaq ("we", "us", or "our").

This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, processed, and handled when you use Scanner Printer. We respect your privacy and aim to collect or access only the information necessary to provide the App's features.

1. INFORMATION WE ACCESS

Scanner Printer may request access to certain device features and content only when necessary to provide functionality selected by you.

Camera

The App may request access to your device's camera to scan documents and capture images.

Camera access is used only when you choose to use a feature that requires the camera.

Photos

The App may request access to your photo library when you choose to select photos or images for features such as creating PDFs, printing photos, or processing images.

Files and Documents

The App may allow you to select files and documents from your device or supported file providers for features such as printing, viewing, creating, converting, merging, splitting, compressing, or otherwise processing PDF documents.

2. DOCUMENT SCANNING

Scanner Printer provides document-scanning functionality.

When you choose to scan a document, camera access and the captured images are used to create or process the scan requested by you.

The App does not access your camera without the permissions required by iOS.

3. DOCUMENTS AND USER CONTENT

Documents, PDFs, photos, scans, text, and other files that you select, create, or process using Scanner Printer are used to provide the functionality requested by you.

We do not claim ownership of your documents or user-created content.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use or process any content through the App.

4. LOCAL STORAGE

Scanner Printer may store certain information locally on your device to provide App functionality and remember certain App states or preferences.

For example, local storage may be used to remember whether a free use of a feature has already been used or to maintain other App preferences.

Information stored locally generally remains on your device unless you remove the relevant data or uninstall the App.

5. PRINTING AND PRINTER ACCESS

Scanner Printer provides features that allow users to prepare and send supported documents, photos, webpages, notes, or other content for printing.

When printing, iOS and compatible printing services may process the document or content necessary to complete the printing request.

Printer discovery or communication may require device or network functionality provided by iOS.

6. PDF AND DOCUMENT TOOLS

Scanner Printer may provide tools for creating and processing documents, including features such as:

- Scanning documents

- Creating PDFs from photos

- Importing PDFs

- Merging PDFs

- Splitting PDFs

- Compressing PDFs

- Converting PDFs to images

- Converting text to PDF

- Converting PDFs to text

- Extracting text from photos

- Printing documents, photos, webpages, and notes

Content selected for these features is processed as necessary to perform the action requested by you.

7. IN-APP PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

Scanner Printer offers optional premium features through in-app purchases and subscriptions.

Available purchase options may include weekly, monthly, yearly, and lifetime access.

Purchases made through the iOS version of Scanner Printer are processed by Apple through the App Store.

We do not directly collect, process, or store your complete payment card or banking information.

Apple may provide the App with information necessary to determine the status of a purchase or entitlement so that premium features can be unlocked.

Subscription pricing, billing periods, renewal terms, and other purchase information are displayed through the App and/or App Store before purchase.

Auto-renewable subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID and App Store account. You may manage or cancel eligible subscriptions through your Apple account settings.

A lifetime purchase, where offered, is a one-time purchase rather than an auto-renewable subscription.

8. ADVERTISING AND TRACKING

Scanner Printer currently does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs.

The App currently does not use third-party advertising networks to display advertisements.

The App also does not currently request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission for cross-app advertising tracking.

If advertising or tracking functionality is introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate and any permissions required by Apple will be requested where applicable.

9. ANALYTICS

Scanner Printer currently does not integrate Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar third-party analytics SDKs for tracking user activity.

If analytics services are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the relevant data practices.

10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Scanner Printer relies on certain Apple and platform services to provide functionality.

For example, Apple services may be involved in:

- Processing App Store purchases and subscriptions

- Providing system printing functionality

- Providing file and photo selection

- Managing device permissions

Information processed directly by Apple is subject to Apple's applicable terms and privacy policies.

11. DATA SHARING

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not sell your documents, scans, PDFs, photos, or other user content.

Information may be processed by platform services when necessary to provide functionality explicitly requested by you, such as completing an App Store purchase or printing a document.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or a valid legal process.

12. DATA RETENTION

Content and preferences stored locally by Scanner Printer may remain on your device until you delete the relevant content, remove App data where supported, or uninstall the App.

Purchase information handled by Apple is subject to Apple's applicable retention practices.

13. DATA SECURITY

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled through Scanner Printer.

However, no electronic device, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users should take appropriate precautions when processing confidential or sensitive documents.

14. DEVICE PERMISSIONS

Depending on the features you use, Scanner Printer may request permissions such as:

- Camera access

- Photo library access

- File or document access

- Printer or network-related access where required by iOS

Permissions are requested when necessary for the associated functionality.

You can review or change permissions for Scanner Printer through your iPhone or iPad settings.

Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from functioning correctly.

15. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Scanner Printer is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected in circumstances where parental consent or deletion is required by applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to address the situation.

16. INTERNATIONAL USERS

Scanner Printer may be available to users in different countries and regions.

Platform services used by the App, including Apple services, may process information according to their own privacy practices and applicable laws.

- Changing App permissions through iOS Settings

- Choosing which documents, photos, and files to process

- Deleting locally stored content where available
