Mary Anne Hamilton with Lin-Manuel Miranda

Mary Anne Hamilton's late husband was the great-great-grandson of Alexander Hamilton. Always eager to share family stories and pictures, she keeps the Hamilton legacy alive, just as Alexander wanted. In 2017 she was invited backstage to meet Lin Manuel-Miranda at a Broadway showing of Hamilton. Her husband was named Laurens Hamilton, which testifies to the close friendship of Alexander and John Laurens.

SCHOLARS OF THE FOUNDING FATHER

Rand Scholet

Rand Scholet is President and Founder of The Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society. He was among the experts who assessed the historical accuracy and reviewed it with Lin-Manuel Miranda prior to the Hamilton musical opening on Broadway. Rand travels around the country non-stop to speak about the history of Alexander Hamilton.

Hear him speak on "The Goodness and Humanity of Alexander Hamilton".

Prof. Sean Patrick Adams of University of Florida taught a course based on the Alexander Hamilton biography by Ron Chernow, which inspired the musical and sparked the revival of Hamilton fans.
