TAKASHI HAMATANI, Ph.D.
Takashi Hamatani received Ph.D. degree in Information Science and Master's Degree from Osaka University in 2018 and 2015. He is now an engineer of NTT DOCOMO, Inc. His research interests are in mobile and wearable computing for pervasive health care application. His major research topic in Ph.D. thesis was "core temperature estimation" and "fluid intake estimation" for heat stroke prevention. He worked as a JSPS special researcher (DC2) from 2017 to 2018.
We presented the recent study: "FluidMeter: Gauging the Human Daily Fluid Intake Using Smartwatches" in ACM UBICOMP 2018.
