The director who made a hit jodi with Govinda established his own brand of comedy in 1990's, which garnered criticism from a section of audience, but was loved by many. As is the case with the majority of soundtracks coming from the house of David Dhawan, one expects a dhamakedaar masala outing in Main Tera Hero as well.

This movie contains all the mass entertainment the Indian audience looks for. And Varun Dhawan the hero of the movie delivers the entertainment. Mostly the director who is famous for his collaboration with Govinda has pinched his son with His replica.

I have to say that this is one of my guilty pleasure movies. The songs - which are absolute bangers btw- shaped my teenage phase and even though the highly improbable story and flow may make it seem like a cringefest, I can't deny the fact that I unironically enjoy the cheesy lines and the silly rhyming.
