1. Introduction

Welcome to the applications and games provided by HALO Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our mobile products, including LumiPic and our other apps and games.

We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and complying with applicable data protection rules, including Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) requirements and Android privacy requirements.

This policy explains:

- What data we collect and how we collect it

- How we use that data

- Which third parties receive data, including third-party AI services

- Your choices, including in-app permission before AI processing

Using our products means you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the product.

2. Collection of Information

Depending on the product and the features you use, we and our service providers may collect:

Account and device identifiers

- An anonymous user ID created on your device (LumiPic does not require an account or password)

- Device model, operating system version, language, and app version

- Purchase and subscription status, credit balance, and restore-purchase information (via the app store and our billing partner)

Photos, videos, and content you provide

- Photos or videos you choose from your library or camera when you generate a template, use an AI editing tool, or use AI chat photobooth

- Text you type, including templates/edit instructions, garment descriptions, and AI chat messages and character details you create

- Generated images and videos stored on your device (My Pic) and, where needed to complete a job, temporarily processed by our AI providers

Usage and diagnostics

- Features used, generation success/failure, crashes, and performance events

- Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics events (typically anonymous / device-based)

Advertising identifiers (only with permission)

- On iOS, we may request the App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing the Advertising Identifier (IDFA)

- On Android, we may use the Advertising ID according to your device ads settings

- These identifiers are used to measure advertising performance (for example with Meta), not to sell your photos

Permissions

- Camera and Photo Library: only when you pick, capture, or save media

- Notifications: optional, for example when a generation finishes

- Tracking (iOS ATT): optional; you can Allow or Ask App Not to Track

We do not collect precise location for LumiPic. Some other HALO Studio apps may request location only when it is needed for that app’s features.

We do not require your name, email, or password to use LumiPic. If you email us for support, we receive the contact details you send.

3. Third-Party AI Services (LumiPic and similar creative apps)

Some HALO Studio products, including LumiPic, use third-party AI services to generate images, videos, edits, and chat replies.

What is sent

- The photo(s) or video frame you selected

- The template, prompt, or edit instructions for that job

- For AI Chat: your messages, character profile details you entered, and any photobooth images you choose

Who receives it

- Runware (api.runware.ai) — image generation, most video generation, AI Tools (upscale, remove background, virtual try-on, inpaint, outpaint), and AI chat

- WaveSpeed — some video templates

How it is used

- Providers process this content only to return the generated image, video, or chat reply

- We do not sell your photos

- Before the first generation, AI Tool job, or chat send, LumiPic shows an in-app permission that names this data and these providers. You can choose Allow or Don’t Allow. The same explanation appears on generate screens and in Settings → How AI uses your data. Agreeing in a privacy policy alone is not how we send this data; the in-app permission is required first.

We require these providers to use the data only to provide the requested AI processing and to apply security and privacy protections appropriate for this type of content. Their own policies also apply:

Generated results are shown in the app and can be saved on your device. You can delete on-device results and your LumiPic cloud profile via Settings → Delete Account.

4. Other Third-Party Services

Our products use third-party services to operate, analyze, and (in some products) advertise. These parties process data under their own policies. We share only what is needed for the listed purpose.

Used by LumiPic

- Runware and WaveSpeed — AI generation, as described in Section 3

- RevenueCat — subscriptions, in-app purchases, and entitlement/credit sync

- Supabase — anonymous user profile and credits sync

- Firebase (Google) — Analytics and Crashlytics

- Meta (Facebook) App Events — advertising measurement and attribution; IDFA/advertiser ID is used only if you allow tracking on iOS

May be used in other HALO Studio games or apps (not all products include ads)

- Unity LevelPlay / ironSource — ad mediation

- Google AdMob — advertisements

- AppLovin, Meta Audience Network, Vungle, and similar networks — advertisements via mediation partners

5. Use of Information & Tracking

We use collected data to:

- Provide the features you request (generation, editing, chat, saving, purchases)

- Send selected media and prompts to third-party AI providers after your in-app permission

- Sync anonymous account state such as credits and subscription status

- Measure app stability and usage (Firebase)

- Measure ad campaign performance with Meta if you allow tracking

- Improve products, fix bugs, and plan new features

- Respond to support requests you send us

Personalized advertising (where a product shows ads) uses device advertising identifiers only with required consents, such as the ATT prompt on iOS.

Tracking on iOS means linking data from the app with data from other companies for advertising or sharing with a data broker. LumiPic requests ATT before collecting an identifier used for that purpose. You can change this later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

6. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet or a mobile network is 100% secure.

Photos and prompts sent to AI providers travel over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We ask you not to upload content you are not allowed to use.

7. Children's Privacy

Our applications, including LumiPic, are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it. If a specific HALO Studio app is designed for children, we follow COPPA and other applicable child-protection rules for that app.

8. Your Rights & Choices

You may:

- Refuse or withdraw AI processing permission by choosing Don’t Allow in the in-app dialog (the feature that needs AI cannot run without it)

- Control tracking in device settings (iOS: Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Ads / privacy settings)

- Control camera, photos, and notifications in device settings

- Delete your LumiPic data in the app: Settings → Delete Account (cloud profile, credits, and generated media on that device). App Store or Google Play subscriptions are managed in your store account

- Email halostudio.team@gmail.com to ask what data we hold or to request deletion

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
