Top Oils that Help Hair - that are also available in Pakistan

  1. Oil by Immortal's Path for Hair - This is a botanical blend oil that supports hair from the root. It is a little expensive (3500 PKR) compared to most oils - but it is one of the most effective oils we have come across. If you cannot afford to buy this regularly enough, you can combine your regime with 2 weeks of this oil usage, combined by 2 weeks of Jojoba oil usage (our second best oil) - results are usually visible in 1-2 months, but you must make sure you massage your whole scalp for 15-20 minutes after applying the oil to the scalp.

Price: 3,100 PKR

Best Place to buy: Their Official Website ImmortalsPath.com.pk for Pakistan.

  1. Jojoba Oil for Hair - This oil is a general oil, often used as a base oil, but people forget, a gentle oil like this can do wonders for your scalp and hair. Do not under-estimate this oil just because it is widely available in Pakistan. You can purchase this in most shops that have specialized oils like grapeseed oil - or you can purchase it online in some online stores - it doesn't matter as the quality for local and imported is consistent.

Price: 1,500 PKR

Best Place to buy: Grocery stores that have imported products would be your best bet. If you are in Islamabad, then go to Kohsar Market in F-7.

  1. Olive oil for Hair: This oil is already world famous for use in cooking and salads - but there is a big issue with this oil - because it is very difficult to find pure, and fresh olive oil anywhere in the world. Even in Italy, where it is produced, it is known to be mixed with other oils to be sold as pure olive oil. I know this because I grew up in a country where many families had olive tree farms, and used to extract their own oils during the harvest season in december - and they would straight up drink the oil in a teaspoon everyday.

If you can find this oil, this is also a great oil to consume in small quantities, but also apply on skin and scalp for hair care purposes. Do not use the average virgin olive oil found in grocery stores - those oils are almost all mixed with other oils, and also they are not fresh - olive oil must be fresh when used, for salads or on hair, because its benefits are in this - that is why we rated Immortal's Path Oil as the best oil, as it does not reduce in quality over time like many oils, plus its effects on hair growth in women and men.

Why use Hair Oil on Hair?

Hair oil has been used for generations in Pakistan - and has been used to help maintain the healthy shine of hair in men and women. Even today when you enter barber shops, or salons, they offer a massage on the head using oils.

This simply helps improve blood circulation in the scalp - but it does depend on what type of oil you use.

For example, essential oils are very popular these days - but are they really effective or useful in hair support? They are a neurotoxin by nature - so when used often, it can not always a be a positive result if you have sensitive skin/scalp.

Oils have been used to create beauty - although some disagree with these claims, I have seen Italians swearing by oils for their natural beauty in hair, skin as well as internal health.

One only has to look at Mediterranean girls, and know what that beauty actually means - even though it is common to have a insulin problem in that area (again, some may disagree) - they still are very beautiful people that live in those regions, and one can only ask how this is possible.

Other Reasons People have Used Hair Oil

Other reasons people have used hair oils (whilst not scientifically proven) - is for preventing mosquito bites.

But for hair purposes, some oils, like the one rated as the number one oil, are known to enlarge the hair strand topically, when oil is applied to the hair - although the directions do state to apply directly on the scalp, not necessarily on the hair itself - as it works from the scalp not the hair, but direct hair application will enlarge the strand (some may disagree with this).
