This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile applications Hair Time and Hair Time Pro.
Hair Time and Hair Time Pro are personal photo diary applications designed to help users organize, store and visually compare hair and scalp images over time. The Apps are not medical devices, do not provide medical diagnoses, do not treat or prevent any disease or condition, and do not replace doctors, dermatologists, clinical examinations, medical equipment, or prescribed treatments.
1. Data processed by the Apps
Depending on the functions you use, the Apps can process profile details such as name, surname, age, height and weight; scalp or hair photographs; notes; dates; comparison selections; zoom and grid-comparison state used during viewing; photo reminder date and time; reminder read/unread status; generated thumbnails; temporary files; import/export files; and the local record of legal acceptance.
2. Local processing and data sharing
The Apps store and process this information locally in private storage on your device. The Apps do not send your profiles, photographs, notes, or usage information to the developer or to third parties. They contain no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, user account, or developer-operated cloud service.
When you deliberately use an available export or system sharing function, Android sends the file only to the destination or application you choose. Profile export may create a ZIP file containing profile details, notes, dates, and photographs stored on your device. Profile import reads ZIP files selected by you and restores supported data into the App's private storage. These user-initiated transfers are outside the App's private storage and are controlled by you and the selected source, destination, or recipient.
3. Device access
Images are selected through Android's system photo or file picker or captured through the device camera when you choose to take a new photo. The Apps do not request unrestricted access to your entire photo library. They use private storage and temporary cache to prepare selected photos, create thumbnails, display comparisons, import supported ZIP files, and create available exports.
4. Photo reminders and notifications
The Apps may allow you to set local reminders for future photo sessions. Reminder date and time, the related profile identifier, and the read/unread reminder status are stored locally on your device.
The Apps may show local Android notifications and, where supported by the device launcher and device settings, a notification badge on the App icon. These reminders are generated locally by the device and are not sent to the developer or to third parties.
You can edit or delete reminders inside the App. Reminder data is removed when the related reminder, profile, or all App data are deleted.
5. Payments
Hair Time is distributed as a free app. Hair Time Pro may be distributed as a paid app through Google Play. Payments are processed by Google Play. The Apps do not collect, store or process payment card details.
6. Retention and deletion
Data remains on your device until you delete the relevant profile or content, use the App's reset function, clear the App's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the App. Deletion is permanent because the developer does not hold a remote copy and cannot restore it.
7. Security
Android's application sandbox protects the Apps' private files from ordinary access by other apps. No storage method can guarantee absolute security. Anyone with access to your unlocked device, exported files, device backups, or a compromised device may be able to view personal content.
8. Children
The Apps are not directed to children under 16 and the developer does not knowingly collect children's data.
9. Your choices and rights
Because the developer does not receive your content, you manage it directly on your device through the Apps and Android settings. For questions about this policy or applicable privacy rights, contact dosinc84@gmail.com.
10. Policy changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect legal, technical, or functional changes. The updated version will be made available on this page.
TERMS OF USE
1. Acceptance
By installing or using Hair Time or Hair Time Pro, you accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy below. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
The App is intended for people aged 16 or older, or the higher minimum age required in their country.
3. Purpose and permitted use
The App is licensed for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control. You may use it to create a private visual diary of scalp and hair photographs, organize photo sessions by date and side, compare images over time, manage local reminders, and export or import permitted profile data where the edition supports those functions.
Hair Time provides a limited set of functions. Hair Time Pro provides the full set of enabled profile, photo, note, image-check, reminder, import, export, and comparison functions described in the App interface.
You must not reverse-engineer, decompile, unlawfully copy, resell, or redistribute the App or its protected assets, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
4. User content
You are responsible for the profiles, photographs, notes, and other content you place in the App. You must have the right and, where necessary, the consent to use photographs or information concerning another person. Do not use the App to store illegal, infringing, or offensive content.
5. Medical and technical disclaimer
The App is a personal photographic diary. It is not a medical device, does not perform a clinical or scientific measurement of hair density, and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, or medical monitoring.
The App must not be used as a substitute for a doctor, dermatologist, qualified healthcare professional, clinical examination, medical equipment, or prescribed treatment. Apparent differences between photographs may be caused by lighting, angle, camera, distance, hairstyle, image quality, or other non-medical factors. Contact a qualified healthcare professional about any concern involving your hair, scalp, or skin.
6. Reminders and notifications
The App may provide local reminders to help you remember future photo sessions. Reminders are only an organizational aid. You remain responsible for managing your own monitoring schedule and for seeking professional medical advice when needed.
7. Backups, imports and exports
The App does not provide cloud backup. You are responsible for keeping any permitted exports or device backups secure. Exported ZIP, image, profile, or video files are not encrypted by the App and may contain personal information, including profile details, notes, dates, and photographs.
Import functions are intended only for ZIP files exported by the same App. Importing data from unknown or untrusted sources may fail, may be rejected by the App, or may create duplicate local profile data.
8. Availability and liability
The App is provided as available. Software errors, device failures, insufficient storage, operating-system changes, or accidental deletion may cause data loss. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under consumer-protection law.
9. Intellectual property
The App name, logos, original interface assets, and source code are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licences.
10. Changes
Features and these terms may be updated. If a material legal update requires renewed acceptance, the App will ask you to accept the new version before continuing.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Mandatory consumer-protection rules and any jurisdiction rights that apply in your country remain unaffected.
