Hai is a Ph.D. student at RMIT University under the supervision of Prof. Zhifeng Bao and Prof. Shane Culpepper. Hai obtained his bachelor's degree and master's degree (supervisor A/Prof. Yuwei Peng) in 2017 and 2020 at Wuhan Univerity.
