Hafiz Majid Hussain

Junior researcher at Control Engineering and Digital Systems Laboratory

In 2019, Hafiz Majid Hussain took a new role as a junior researcher in the school of energy systems, Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland. Currently, he is working with Pedro H. J. Nardelli (Supervisor) on a project (EnergyNet).

Hafiz Majid Hussain was born in Peshawar, Pakistan, and completed his BS in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences and MS from University of Engineering & Technology Taxila, Pakistan, in 2014 and 2017, respectively.

Prior to joining MS studies in 2014, he was an intern engineer at Hydro Tech Pak and explored the working principle of a hydroelectric power plant. In 2017, he started working in NayaTel as a "Network Support Engineer", where he and his team have developed the first optical fiber network in Peshawar. He also spent his summer at Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited and learned knowledge about the fundamentals of fiber optic communication.
